Due to rising demand and the associated costs of Hoopla's pay-per-use model, Chapin Memorial Library will be discontinuing the Hoopla service effective June 30th. This decision was not made lightly; we have recognized that the current model is no longer sustainable with our budget contraints.
While we understand that Hoopla is a popular service and will be missed, we will do our best to enhance Libby's options by expanding the selection and adding more copies to reduce wait times. Offering a variety of digital materials is important to us, and we will make every effort within our budget to maintain a robust digital collection.
