Get Your Poems Ready!

Chapin Memorial Library is hosting an all ages Poetry Open Mic on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 5:30-6:30pm. 
Myrtle Beach Poet Laureate Bo Bryan will be in attendance to do a reading. Submissions are being accepted between 
September 1-September 30, 2025 from poets interested in applying to read at the event. 
To be considered, please fully complete the form below. 
Guidelines are as follows:
  • Poets may submit 1-3 poems for consideration and must remain limited to a 5 minute reading time during the event.
  • Works may not contain profanity, illegal material, political content or hate speech of any kind. 
The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, September 30. Poets will be notified of acceptance two weeks before the event.
