GETTING STARTED
Go to chapinlibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack Tracker app. Follow the simple prompts to sign up. Join the Tween/Teen Summer Reading Challenge.
PARTICIPATION
Earn 6 reading badges to win the Summer Reading Challenge! Earn badges by reading or listening to books. Select the "badges" tab above to see badges you have earned and ones yet to complete. (Note: The registration and completion badges do not count towards your 6 earned badges.)
Reading badges are earned by the total minutes spent reading. It doesn't matter how many pages you turn or the total books you complete. Some read short stories and some read epic novels. Some read fast and some read slow. What and how you read is up to you - just read and keep track of the time you spent doing it.
Badge completion will make you eligible for weekly prize drawings during the Summer Reading Challenge. The more you log, the better the chance of winning a weekly prize!
Complete your Summer Reading Challenge by July 22 to be entered in the Grand Prize drawing.

REWARDS
- Weekly prize drawings entries for attending events at the Library.
- Weekly prize drawing entries for 125, 375, 625, 875, and 1,000 minutes read.
- Oceans of Possibilities T-shirt and paperback book (while supplies last) for 500 minutes read.
- Grand Prize entry for 750 minutes read.
- Goody Bag at 250 minutes read (while supplies last).
- Summer Reading Medal awarded for completeing the challenge.
CELEBRATION OF READERS
Complete the Tween/Teen Summer Reading Challenge and earn an invitation to our party held at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot on July 29 at 4:30pm. Youve done the reading, and now its time to party! Enjoy some snacks, dessert, games, and dancing as we award the S.C. Summer Reading Medals to those who have competed the challenge, and announce the Grand Prize winner!
