GETTING STARTED
If you have participated in past Beanstack Reading Challenges, open your Beanstack app or go to chapinlibrary.beanstack.org and sign in. Join the 2023 Adult Summer Reading Challenege.
If this is your first time, download the Beanstack Tracker app using the links below, or go to chapinlibrary.beanstack.org . Launch the app and search for Chapin Memorial Library. Follow the simple prompts to sign up and create a free account. Make sure to select the 2023 Adult Summer Reading Challenge so your reading is credited towards the current challenge. Use the Beanstack app or website to log and track your progress.
PARTICIPATION
Earn 10 badges to win the Summer Reading Challenge! Earn badges by reading or listening to books, attending events at Chapin Library, downloading digital content, or submitting book reviews via Beanstack. A minimum of 3 books are required to earn 3 of the 10 badges.
To earn the remaining 7 badges, pick from the activities below. A maximum of 5 additional badges can be earned from reading or listening to books..
- Read or Listen to a Book (1 badge each)
- Write a Book Review (1 badge each)
- Attend an Adult Program (1 badge each)
- Participate in the "Random Acts of Kindness" Program (1 badge)
- Download a Book, Movie, Magazine, or Music Album from Hoopla, Kanopy, or Flipster (1 badge each)
Log your activity and badge completion frequently to be eligible for weekly prize drawings during the Summer Reading Challenge. The more you log, the better the chance of winning a weekly prize!
COMPLETION
To complete your Summer Reading Challenge earn 10 badges by July 21 in order to receive your invitation to the Murder Mystery Dinner Party. Each individual must have earned 10 badges themselves. Guests are not permitted.
