City of Myrtle Beach Residents

Required Identification:

SC Driver's License or SC ID WITH a City of Myrtle Beach address 

or

Paid Current property tax receipt on City of Myrtle Beach property WITH Government issued ID with matching name

Horry County Residents

may obtain a library card with the following requirements

Annual Card for Primary Card Holder: $20.00

Additional Cards for *family members: no charge

Required Identification:

SC Driver's License or SC ID WITH Horry county address

or

Paid current property tax receipt on Horry County property WITH government issued ID with matching name

NON-Resident Library Card (Individuals who live outside of Horry County)

90 Day Card: Primary Card $8.00

Additional Card for *Family Members: $2.00 per card

Annual Card: Primary Card $20.00 annual fee

Additional Card for *Family Members: $8.00

Required Identification:

Government issued ID for example Driver's License, Passport

* Family member defined as any person in the same household related by blood, marriage, or other legal means to the primary cardholder.
